Estonia is set to party as Õllesummer 2011 is just around the corner.  Õllesummer is billed as one of the largest festivals in the Baltic region, attracting thousands to Tallinn to enjoy live music and lots of beer.

Õllesummer 2011

Õllesummer runs from July 6 – 9 and will be held in the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds.

Yes, there’ll be plenty of beer at Õllesummer (beer summer), but this festival has also evolved into a mega music festival with international headline acts like the Cranberries and Killer Queen and a host of Estonian performers.

There will be lots of different tents filled with food stalls and beer, fun and games for the young, and live entertainment .  Whether it’s a beer festival or an art festival depends on how you choose to spend your time at Õllesummer!

Tickets cost 10 € for a one-day ticket and 25 € for the four-day pass.  For more information about buying tickets, see the Õllesummer Festival website.

If you’re planning on attending this festival, don’t forget to book your Tallinn hotel early.
