River cruises have become a very popular travel alternative these day and is a keen competitor to the coach tour holidays for people who prefer organised holidays.
The Rhine is of course one of the the main rivers where river cruises operate as the scenery along the Rhine is simply spectacular. All the major river cruise companies have boats that ply the Rhine. If you don’t fancy going on an extended organised river cruise or if you only have a few days to spare, you can still enjoy a cruise on the Rhine by purchasing a day ticket.
