From Marienbrücke Ludwig II Admired His Neuschwanstein Castle: When you come up to Neuschwanstein Castle, make sure you get to the Marienbrücke (Mary's Bridge), a bridge which spans the Pöllat Gorge. Neuschwanstein Castle is the Inspiration for Walt Disney's Castle: Schloss Neuschwanstein is one of the most popular castles in Europe and we are glad that our autumn visit has allowed us to tour the interior of the castle.
