Paris Beauvais Airport (tel: (0)3 44.11.46.46 http://www.aeroportbeauvais.com) is located north of Beauvais at Tillé, about 60 km from Paris; it's about an hour's drive under good conditions. RyanAir, Braathens, Sterling, Wizz Air and other discount airlines fly from there. You can get to and from Paris by bus, door-to-door shuttle, taxi/train and taxi.

Transfers by Bus:

A shuttle bus service (tel:.33 158 050 845) is available to and from Paris-Beauvais Airport and Paris (Porte Maillot). Buses depart from Beauvais airport 20 minutes after the arrival of each flight and from Paris-Porte Maillot 3 hours before the departure of each flight. Tickets cost €13 for a trip one way and the journey time is approximately 1 hour.

From PARIS (Porte Maillot) To PARIS/BEAUVAIS

The departure point in Paris ("Paris-Beauvais-Shop") is located at the bus park on the Boulevard Pershing, near the hotel Concorde Lafayette (MAP). The nearest métro station is Porte Maillot. Show up 3 hours 15 before your flight departure time. The tickets - €13 cash only / one way - are purchased directly on the bus.

From PARIS/BEAUVAIS To PARIS (Porte Maillot)

At Paris-Beauvais airport a shuttle leaves approximatively 20 minutes after each flight arrival. The tickets - €13 cash only / one way - must be purchased at the bus ticket sale point, outside the airport.

You could buy your ticket online if you don't want to waste time queueing at the ticket desk, ticket.aeroportbeauvais.com. You print out the voucher and present it on the bus.

Transfers by Shuttle:

Airport-Shuttle.com (7, rue Gay Lussac - 75005 PARIS Reservation: +33(0)1 42 71 40 31) provides airport shuttle services operating 7 days a week between Beauvais Tillié airport and Paris. They use vans seating up to eight passengers and limousine cars. They offer three different kinds of service:

• Shuttle bus service (bus service between the Airport and Arc de Triomphe, Opera, Chatelet or St Michel): €25 per person (must be more than one). Supplement €3 for flights arriving after 7pm and departing before 10.30am
• Shared Shuttle service (door to door service): from €30-38 per person. These prices are valid for transportation between 7 am and 7 pm. There's a supplement of €10 per person for evening or early morning transportation (maximum €20 extra charge)
• Private service (door to door service) private cars or vans for 1 to 3 persons,4 to 5 persons or 6 to 8 persons: from €130 per car

They also do transfers to CDG and Disneyland Paris.

To go from the Beauvais station to the airportand vice versa, taxis charge a fixed price of €11 during the day (7am to 7pm except Sundays & bank holidays), €15 at night (7pm to 7am & Sundays & bank holidays), for up to four people, with or without luggage.

The journey will take about 1 hour 20 mins plus 15 mins more for the taxi ride (not counting any waiting time).

Transfers by Taxi:

If you're feeling rich, taxis also commute to Paris and charges range from €100-120 during the day and €140-160 at night. Journey time to Paris takes from one to one and half hours depending on the destination and traffic.
