Bateaux Parisiens
(Previous page: Paris Tourist Sightseeing Boats Bateaux-Mouches)
Like the other major players, Bateaux Parisiens offer both sightseeing tours and dinner (book online below) and lunch cruises.
Sightseeing cruise
These are one-hour cruises with commentary and music evocative of the places and periods on the route.
The commentary is broadcast via individual handsets and is available in 13 languages. Each language version has specific anecdotes and cultural references.
As well as the redorded commentary, a live guide/hostess takes the microphone from time to time (in four languages) to give information on the latest events in Paris (temporary exhibitions, shows, cultural and sports events, etc.).
