Airport Transportation at Lisbon International Airport:
Lisbon International Airport is Portugal’s busiest airport and is the main point of entry for travellers arriving in Portugal. The modern airport is approximately 7 km from the city centre and is well served by many airport transfer options.
By Bus
The airport is along the route of a number of the local Carris bus services with the airport stop located mid-journey for these routes. The ticket costs just 1.35€ and may be purchased from the driver as you board the bus.

ShuttleDirect – If you’re travelling with children or sports equipment or you would like to be delivered directly to your hotel, you may prefer to book a private airport transfer with Shuttle Direct.
Although there is no direct connection to the airport, the nearest metro stations are 15 minutes away by bus (Gare do Oriente or Areeiro Stations).
By Taxi
There are two taxi stands within the airport perimeter, one at arrivals and the other at departures. Before you jump into a cab, it’s worthwhile stopping at the very bright Tourism Information Counter in the airport’s Arrivals Hall to get information about correct taxi fares and any additional charges.
