Cappadocia’s Cave Chapels and Houses are preserved at Goreme
Helen Page is checking out Goreme’s Open Air Museum in Cappadocia, enjoying the cool of the cave houses and the rock art.
“This morning we’re at Goreme. This is an open-air museum, and as you can see, it’s famous for its cave houses. So, we’ve just been to the Apple Chapel with all the 13th century paintings of Jesus Christ and his crucifixion, and we’ve been to a couple of other chapels. Now we’re just going around to have a look at the caves. So I’m heading that way. See you later.”
