A Four-Day Danube River Cruise from Vienna to Budapest: A visitor to our site recently emailed me to say that she was keen on doing a Danube River Cruise but complained that river cruises are very expensive.  She thought that she could do it cheaper by hopping on and off local river boats and arranging her own transport and land accommodation.
