Neuschwanstein, Hohenschwangau, Oberammergau

Schwangau's skyline is graced by two world famous castles, Schloss Neuschwanstein - the fairy-tale castle built for mad King Ludwig II and Schloss Hohenschwangau. It's indeed ironical that King Ludwig built Neuschwanstein to take refuge from the world and yet some $50 million people have visited the castle since his death.
