Dijon - France Dijon is known the world over for its mustard, however the capital of the province of Burgundy has lots more to offer than just mustard. At the centre of Dijon you'll see the architectural splendour, a legacy from the Dukes of Burgundy. During the 17th - 18th centuries wealthy parliamentarians also built elegant hôtel particuliers or private mansions in town, adding to the architectural richness of Dijon.

Dijon today remains culturally rich and has a famous university. It also has a reputation for its food fairs and attracts flocks of visitors to its annual International Gastronomic Fair. Florissimo, an international flower show is also held here once every three years.
