We are very interested in this cruise. So far I’ve not found any reviews specifically related to Spain. Most are of the Douro River. I’ve toured Portugal. Now time to tour Spain. Anybody have comments or reviews? I’m interested.

I wonder how much walking is involved on the excursions. I can climbs stairs and walk well for short distances, but can’t walk for distances. Does anyone know about this? I dream of going on one of these riverboat cruises.

We have taken 3 cruises with CroisiEurop on the Seine,Rhone and Bordeaux. We have found the boats to be modern, clean and well maintained, but not over the top on decor. The crews have been helpful, cheerful and obviously proud of their company. Passengers have been groups of French, British, Spanish and Italian with dining tables allocated by language. All announcement and guides have been multi-lingual. Food was of a good standard and quantity with free wine (with a choice) at mealtimes being a welcome bonus.
Overall we have found CroisiEurop to be very good value, but if you are a “stuffed shirt” they may not be for you

I have visited the Rhinestein Castle a couple years ago and loved it. My fiance and I would really like to see about possibly getting married there next year. Does anyone have any information on the ability to do this?

We’ve been on three riverboat cruises and noise from neighbouring rooms has never come up as an issue.

We’ve not travelled on the Beatrice but the fact that it got voted best riverboat in the Conde Nast poll says a lot about customer satisfaction. Below are some further reviews by past passengers for your reading.

Uniworld’s boats are really classy and I’m sure you’ll have a great time. But just in case you’re unlucky enough to have a very loud neighbour, can I suggest that you take some ear plugs with you to ensure a good night’s sleep. They’re always handy on planes as well. You’ll find that during the day, most people are in the lounge or on the sundeck enjoying the magnificent sights.

I simply have a question for any of you seasoned riverboat cruisers. A few articles I have read comment on the thin un-soundproofed walls between rooms. We are taking our first riverboat cruise in May on the Beatrice. We have secured a Jr.Suite. Do you suppose we will encounter this on this particular riverboat. We are so looking forward to the trip, but have a few concerns if we will be dealing with getting to know our neighbors better than we wish. Has anyone experienced such problems?
