This is a great opportunity to whizz round some of the country&#8217;s finest temporary and permanent collections until 1 am.\u00a0 Night visits to museums are magic and an event not to be missed!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gastronomic Lille<\/strong>:\u00a0 Food enthusiasts may consider hanging the expense and going a little further afield to the town of Lille.\u00a0 Food features highly in Lille during the month of May.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On 1 May &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.partner.viator.com\/en\/2494\/search\/Lille\" target=\"_self\"><strong>Lille <\/strong><\/a>celebrates the forever popular soup dish <strong>&#8220;La Louche d&#8217;Or&#8221;<\/strong> or The Golden Ladle. You can participate in the celebration of this traditional dish at bistros and food stalls at the <strong>Wazemmes market<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>From May 29 &#8211; June 7 &#8211; <strong>March\u00e9 Artisanal <\/strong>(formerly known as Lille aux Saveurs) takes place at Place Rihour. At this gourmet food festival you can eat to your heart&#8217;s content\u00a0and sample a selection of regional specialities and produce, including cheese and charcuterie.\u00a0 Try the tarte au sucre (sugar tart) or cr\u00e8me br\u00fbl\u00e9e \u00e0 la chicor\u00e9e (cr\u00e8me br\u00fbl\u00e9e with chicory).\u00a0 <strong>Cheeses<\/strong>, <strong>cr\u00e8me br\u00fbl\u00e9e<\/strong>, what else could you ask for?
