Bryag<\/em>)<strong><em> <\/em><\/strong>boasts of being the largest holiday complex on <img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" vspace=\"3\" align=\"right\" width=\"110\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.travelsignposts.com\/Destination\/d\/35758-2\/AJP_2275.jpg?resize=110%2C85\" hspace=\"3\" alt=\"Apartments for sale, Sunny Beach\" height=\"85\" style=\"width: 110px; height: 85px\" title=\"Apartments for sale, Sunny Beach\" \/>the Black Sea coast.\u00a0 Along its six kilometer stretch of beach, there are\u00a0about 150 hotels, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.travelsignposts.com\/Destination\/v\/Bulgaria\/SunnyBeach\/AJP_2275.jpg.html\" title=\"Apartment blocks in Sunny Beach\">apartment blocks<\/a>, villas and campsites, more than 120 restaurants, night clubs, bars and discos.\u00a0 Now, where might this remind you of .. yes, Toremolinos in Malaga, Spain!<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" vspace=\"3\" align=\"left\" width=\"110\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.travelsignposts.com\/Destination\/d\/35782-2\/DSC_0332.jpg?resize=110%2C85\" hspace=\"3\" alt=\"Apartment blocks, Sunny Beach\" height=\"85\" style=\"width: 110px; height: 85px\" title=\"Apartment blocks, Sunny Beach\" \/>FOR SALE signs were everywhere, and from the British and Bulgarian flags on\u00a0the ads, one could deduce that the target market is the Brits.\u00a0 For as little as <font face=\"Times New Roman\">\u20ac50,000, <\/font>you could buy your little patch of\u00a0<em>paradise by the sea.<\/em>\u00a0 Quite scarey really when you think of the prospect of this place being totally thrashed out by cheap mass tourism.\u00a0 Our local tour guide who works as a receptionist in one of the resorts confirmed that drunkenness is a problem!\u00a0 Dotting the landscape were also a number of failed or stalled <a href=\"http:\/\/www.travelsignposts.com\/Destination\/v\/Bulgaria\/SunnyBeach\/DSC_0332.jpg.html\" title=\"Apartment blocks, Sunny Beach\">apartment blocks<\/a>, where money had obviously run out.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" vspace=\"3\" align=\"right\" width=\"110\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.travelsignposts.com\/Destination\/d\/35813-2\/AJP_2286.jpg?resize=110%2C85\" hspace=\"3\" alt=\"Christ Pancrator Church\" height=\"85\" style=\"width: 110px; height: 85px\" title=\"Christ Pancrator Church\" \/>Nessebar is situated on a small rocky peninsula in the northern section of Bourgas Bay.\u00a0 It is one of the oldest towns in Bulgaria and is on the UNESCO listing of World Heritage Sites.\u00a0The churches of Nessebar include\u00a0some of the most remarkable church architectural monuments that have survived to date.\u00a0\u00a0These churches date back to medieval times\u00a0and the most well preserved of these churches is the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.travelsignposts.com\/Destination\/v\/Bulgaria\/Nessebar\/AJP_2286.jpg.html\" title=\"Christ Pancrator Church\">Christ Pancrator Church<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" vspace=\"3\" align=\"left\" width=\"110\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.travelsignposts.com\/Destination\/d\/35801-2\/DSC_0346.jpg?resize=110%2C85\" hspace=\"3\" alt=\"Rosewater products\" height=\"85\" style=\"width: 110px; height: 85px\" title=\"Rosewater products\" \/>There&#8217;s a maze of small roads and alleyways that take you around town but every which way you turn, you&#8217;ll come across stalls selling thrashy stuff.\u00a0\u00a0The only thing of interest\u00a0is the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.travelsignposts.com\/Destination\/v\/Bulgaria\/Nessebar\/DSC_0346.jpg.html\" title=\"Rosewater products\">rosewater <\/a>products that are famous here.\u00a0 The group is always looking for souvenirs to buy home, but I don&#8217;t think anything came away with anything.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" vspace=\"3\" align=\"right\" width=\"110\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.travelsignposts.com\/Destination\/d\/35891-2\/DSC_0356.jpg?resize=110%2C85\" hspace=\"3\" alt=\"Black sea restaurants, Nessebar\" height=\"85\" style=\"width: 110px; height: 85px\" title=\"Black sea restaurants, Nessebar\" \/>There are lots of little cafes and restaurants where you can stop for\u00a0a drink or meal.\u00a0 Walk towards the sea-facing side of town and you&#8217;ll also find lots of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.travelsignposts.com\/Destination\/v\/Bulgaria\/Nessebar\/DSC_0356.jpg.html\" title=\"Black Sea restaurants, Nessebar\">restaurants <\/a>where you can enjoy views of the Black Sea.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s sad that the authorities have allowed the town deteriorate into one big junk market and it appears that Nessebar&#8217;s\u00a0World Heritage status is not taken too
