You can climb this pyramid for a view of the city.<\/li>\n<li>Dresden Striezelmarkt also holds the world record for the <strong>largest stollen<\/strong> at 4.2 tonnes.<\/li>\n<li>And, in 2009, they&#8217;ve also entered their 13.5 metre wide <strong>Christmas arch<\/strong> into the Guinness Book of World Records.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The name <strong><em>Striezelmarkt <\/em><\/strong>is derived from <strong><em>Hefestriezel<\/em><\/strong>, a sweet treat which later became known as the <strong>Dresden Christollen<\/strong>, a German Christmas cake.  Dresden&#8217;s stollen is world famous and its <a href=\"http:\/\/www.travelsignposts.com\/Germany\/food\/dresden-christmas-stollen\" target=\"_self\"><strong>Stollenfest <\/strong><\/a>is one of the highlights of the Striezelmarkt.
