The Riemergasse is housed in a stylishly restored art nouveau building. The art deco lift is classy and we enjoyed riding in it.<\/p>\n<div class=\"adLargerect\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\n     style=\"display:inline-block;width:300px;height:250px\"\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-1009507070974015\"\n     data-ad-slot=\"7417206609\"><\/ins>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/div>\n<h4>Riemergasse Location<\/h4>\n<p>We couldn&#8217;t be more pleased with the central location of the apartment. It is about three minutes&#8217; walk from St. Stephen&#8217;s Cathedral and the K\u00e4rntner Stra\u00dfe shopping street.\u00a0The <strong>Stubentor<\/strong> underground station is a short walk from the apartment. You can also catch the underground at <strong>Stephanplatz<\/strong>. From these two stations it&#8217;s easy to get around Vienna for sightseeing. We also managed to make a day trip to Bratislava during our stay.<\/p>\n<h4>Accommodation<\/h4>\n<p>Appartement Riemergasse offers guests a choice of Studio, Family Studio, Comfort Suite or Grand Suite. Our 30 m\u00b2 Studio apartment no. 530 was <strong>small but very functional<\/strong>. There was a coffee machine and they were exceptionally generous with the Nespresso coffee pods. They provided a range of different intensity coffee pods. Riemergasse and the surrounding streets are full of caf\u00e9s and restaurants. There are also three supermarkets in the vicinity if you need to stock up on food and drinks.<\/p>\n<h4>What we liked<\/h4>\n<p>&#8211; Great location<br \/>\n&#8211; Friendly staff and check-in was efficient<br \/>\n&#8211; Wi-Fi was excellent<br \/>\n&#8211; Minibar, kitchenette with refrigerator<br \/>\n&#8211; Espresso machine and generous supply of coffee pods &#8211; triple plus for this!<br \/>\n&#8211; Classy lift<\/p>\n<h4>What we weren&#8217;t fond of<\/h4>\n<p>&#8211; Nothing really<\/p>\n<h4>Getting there<\/h4>\n<p><em>By Train<\/em> &#8211; Getting to the Appartement-Hotel Riemergasse from Vienna&#8217;s Schwechat Airport was easy, even with our huge cases. We took the very efficient <strong>City Airport Train<\/strong> (CAT) to &#8220;Wien Mitte&#8221;. From there we took the U3 for just one stop to &#8220;Stubentor&#8221;. Look for trains in the direction of Ottakring.<\/p>\n<p><em>Private Transfer<\/em> &#8211; If you don&#8217;t want to bother with public transport, you can book a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.partner.viator.com\/en\/2494\/tours\/Vienna\/Vienna-Airport-Private-Arrival-Transfer\/d454-2420VIEAPTHTL_P\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">private transfer<\/a><\/strong> is another option.<\/p>\n<h4>Happy to Stay at Appartement Riemergasse again<\/h4>\n<p>Sometimes you come across nice accommodation that you&#8217;d like to keep secret for fear that they might become too popular &#8211; the Appartement-Hotel an der Riemergasse is one of them.
