For less intense activities there&#8217;s walking and hiking in the beautiful <strong>Karwendel Alpine Park<\/strong> or the <strong>Zirbenweg trail<\/strong> on Patscherkofel.<\/p>\n<h4>There&#8217;s More to Innsbruck than Sports<\/h4>\n<p>But Innsbruck is not about skiing or sports only. Many of the monuments built by Emperor Maximilian I, such as the world famous <strong>Golden Roof <\/strong>and his tomb at the <strong>Imperial Church<\/strong>, still exist today.<\/p>\n<p>Whilst its proud imperial history gives Innsbruck its culture and glamour, there&#8217;s also a modern side to Innsbruck.  This is a <strong>university town<\/strong>, full of youthful energy and bars, pubs, discos and cafes.<\/p>\n<p>Like most city centres, Innsbruck has it share of modern shops.
