Parndorf Designer Outlet – Parndorf Outlet

The Parndorf Outlet is Austria’s first Designer Outlet:

Parndorf Designer Outlet

Austria has plenty of history, famous composers, lots of culture and loads of mouth-watering chocolates, but did you know that it has the Parndorf Designer Outlet as well?

The Parndorf Outlet is the first of McArthur Glen’s designer outlets in Austria which opened in 1998.  It is strategically located just off the A4, which links Vienna to Budapest.  The Parndorf Outlet is also at the intersection of the S31, D2 and M1, making it convenient for affluent travellers from the neighbouring cities of Budapest, Bratislava and Prague to call in for some designer shopping en route to their destination.

Phase IV of this already extensive mall was completed in 2010 and adds more shopping space to the Parndorf Outlet.  McArthurGlen’s second Austrian outlet, Salzburg Designer Outlet opened in Autumn 2009.

At McArthurGlen’s Parndorf Designer Outlet are 150 designer and fashion shops carrying over 600 brands of ladies’, men’s and children’s fashion, sports and casual wear, shoes, fashion accessories, glass and porcelain, bags, gift items, decoration, toys and games and much more. Yes, I kid you not, that’s what McArthurGlen says – “600 world-brands”.  You never have to go anywhere else for your branded goods!

Brands like Escada, Polo Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Bally, Aigner, Strenesse, René Lezard, Porsche Design, Diesel, Mango are resident here and discounts range from 30% to 70%. The mall’s vibrant, colourful buildings is inspired by the local Burgenland style and is bound to keep shoppers bright and optimistic that they will find that designer bargain they are looking for. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing and the only strain might be how much purchases your credit cards can take.

Local attractions

Austria’s first Designer Outlet is at the heart of one of its main tourism region – Neusiedler See. Lake Neusiedl lies in the easternmost province of Austria and is an UNESCO World Heritage area. The region around the steppe lake, with over 2,000 hours of sunshine annually, has all the right ingredients for a perfect holiday and is one of the most popular holiday regions in Austria.  The Parndorf outlet is also in the Burgenland wine region.
