Gustav Mahler Hall

The room was named the Gustav Mahler Hall on May 11, 1997 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of his conducting debut at the opera house. His performance at the Wiener Staatsoper ultimately led to Mahler's appointment as director of the Vienna Opera.
