Just next to the travertine terraces of Pamukkale is Hierapolis, a Graeco-Roman city that was famous for its hot springs. The site includes the most ancient graveyards in Anatolia, remnants of Roman architecture and an Antique Pool where visitors can swim in the therapeutical hot springs of this ancient city.
