On Wednesday, Friday and Sunday mornings, Place Monge, the tree-lined square with the fountain located just up from the metro, is where you'll find the open-air Marché Monge food and clothing market. There are usually some ccoked food stalls too, although there are plenty of eating options in the touristy Rue Mouffetard nearby.
