Swarovski Crystal Gallery – the World’s Largest:

Swarovski – Innsbruck, Old Town

Stroll through the streets of Innsbruck’s historic centre and one shop you won’t miss is the Swarovski Crystal Gallery. Its bright red, stylishly restored 15th century building is right at the southern entrance to the Old Town (Alstadt) where Swarovski’s spacious premises house a world full of glitz and glamour.

Swarovski has a huge following amongst women the world over who love their glitzy jewellery, accessories and ornaments.  Charm bracelets are popular as are Swarovski binoculars, mobile phone accessories and hair jewels.

At Swarovski Crystal Gallery crystal lovers will be dazzled by the  sparkling jewellery and accessories from the exclusive Daniel Swarovski Paris line,  collector’s items, exquisite design objects, crystal chandeliers and enchanting souvenirs.  If you’re not sure of what you want, customers are offered expert advice in a variety of languages.

At Christmas, Swarovski Innsbruck, as well as the Crystal Worlds in Wattens, amaze visitors with their Chamber of Wonder.  Walk down the steps into their ‘Winter Wonderland’ and you’ll be enchanted not only with beautiful crystal objects and jewellery, but also Christmas decorations from Swarovski’s Christmas World.  The fabulous, glittering Swarovski ‘Winter Wonderland’ has been on display since 2006.

Swarovski Christmas ornaments

Designed by Dutch artist Tord Boontje, the landscaped crystal winter wonderland is designed to stir all kinds of emotions, memories and fantasies for visitors – for some it’s nostalgic, whilst others are excited.  Swarovski’s ‘Winter Wonderland’ has become a tourist attraction and tour groups are brought here to enjoy their creative Christmas crystal exhibits and hopefully to buy some crystals as well.

In the Innsbruck Crystal Gallery this Tyrolean crystal manufacturer’s has created the world’s largest Swarovski shop. Whilst you may be exposed to some of the crystal rings and pendants, figurines and smaller pieces of ornaments in your Swarovski shops back home, the Swarovski Innsbruck shop obviously has the complete range, including the more seriously priced items.

Swarovski Crystal is much loved by many people around the world and I know of friends of mine who would go berserk in this shop.
