Air travellers who’ve had their property damaged by airlines or been frustrated in their dealings with impenetrable airline bureaucracy will enjoy watching these YouTube videos.

Only after Dave Carroll’s video received 150,000 hits and got airing on CNN did United make contact with him to try and resolve his complaint. The video is now doing about 3,861,954 hits (and rising fast) and has proved a public relations disaster for United while making Dave world-famous!

This whole episode is a salutary warning to airlines:  Be nice to your passengers, especially those who can sing!

On behalf of all air travellers who have suffered at the hands of callous airlines – Thank you Dave!

The moral of the story is - fly with good carriers.
