From Stonehenge to London

DAY 13 – Well, everyone made it back to the coach on time so thankfully no one got sacrificed at Stonehenge!  It was a race back Big Bento London and we got into the city just before dark.  We asked to be dropped off at Victoria Station as our hotel for the night was the Hesperia at 2 Bridge Street.  This modern hotel is nice to stay as it is right next to Victoria rail, coach and underground stations.   Certainly for us it was so covenient as the next morning we just rolled across the road to catch our train back up to Yorkshire, this time to visit Tony’s mum.

Overall our Britain & Ireland trip was quite successful and the weather was rather kind to us.

We’re doing a very similar tour in several weeks with Insight Vacations Britain and Ireland Explorer. This will be our first coach tour…enjoyed reading about yours.
