FIFA Women‘s World Cup – Germany 2010

The future stars of women‘s soccer are coming to Germany.

From 13 July to 1 August 2010, the world’s top young female footballers will be playing at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup 2010™ in the four host cities of Augsburg, Dresden, Bielefeld and Bochum.

The tournament kicks off on 13 July 2010 with the two matches in Germany’s group at Bochum stadium. The final will be played in Bielefeld on 1 August 2010. (Book your Bielefeld hotels early.)

Fast, exciting, top-class matches in this tournament will give fans a taste of what to expect at the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2011™.   It is anticipated that a few new stars may emerge from this tournament who will be back next year, when the women’s World Cup proper comes to Germany, from 26 June to 17 July 2011.

Semifinals on 29/07
– Germany plays Korea in Bochum  – Germany had an easy 5-1 win
– Columbia plays Nigeria in Bielefeld – Nigeria beat Columbia 1-0

Germany beat Nigeria 2-0.  Well done to both teams!

    You can’t doubt it ,Nigeria is going to win the women wold cup 201o. many people thought because the men as disappointed the great black Africa nation Nigeria,the women also will be disgraced but thanks be to God ,the Nigeria women have proved to the world that we still have a lot of talented footballer if not the men but the women. what can we say more…..
