Dresden Striezelmarkt is the Largest in Dresden: There are many Christmas markets in Dresden, but the largest of them all is the Dresden Striezelmarkt.  The Dresden Striezelmarkt is also Germany's oldest Christmas market and 2012 marks the 578th Dresden Striezelmarkt. Dresden's Christmas Stollen is World Famous:! The Christmas season brings with it many special treats and one of my favourites is the Stollen. This German Christmas cake, called the Weihnachtsstollen or Christstollen is a loaf-shaped cake made with chopped candied or dried fruit, nuts and spices. Marzipan stollen is my favourite.
