Plants lovers will enjoy a visit to the Marché aux Fleurs in the 4th arrondissement and on Sundays visitors can also enjoy the bird market (Marché aux Oiseaux) which is very popular with children. These City Flower and Bird Markets have been operating at the Place Louis Lépine on la Ile de la Cité since 1808.
