Marché Edgar Quinet is an open market held every Saturday and Wednesday mornings in the Montparnasse district. At this colourful market are stalls selling flowers, fruits, vegetables, fresh and processed meats, a range of cheeses, oysters and fish, mixed up with sellers of pots and pans, clothing, bric-a-brac etc.
