Inici / Christmas in Europe / Neuschwanstein, Hohenschwangau, Oberammergau 76
Schwangau's skyline is graced by two world famous castles, Schloss Neuschwanstein - the fairy-tale castle built by mad King Ludwig II and Schloss Hohenschwangau. It's indeed ironical that King Ludwig built Neuschwanstein to take refuge from the world and yet some 50 million people have visited the castle since his death.
