Почетна / Portugal / Obidos 89
Óbidos is one of the most perfect examples of medieval fortresses in Portugal. A ring of medieval fortress walls encircle the town and within it are traces of centuries of the town's history.
Obidos is also one of Portugal's prettiest town and it's no wonder that it was chosen as wedding a gift by King Dinis to Isabel of Aragon when they married in 1282. It stayed as the property of the queens of Portugal up till 1883.
In this photo gallery, we cover sightseeing attractions in town, including the castle battlements.
