Christmas Concerts in Vilnius, Lithuania

To set the mood for Christmas and the festive season in Vilnius, following are some of the Christmas and New Year’s Eve concerts in the historic centre of Vilnius.

Snow Maiden – A Children’s Concert which tells of a conflict between eternity, natural forces, and man. There are fairy tale characters, like Grandfather Frost, Spring Beauty, and Wood Sprite, as well as charming and poetic near-human characters, like the Snow Maiden or Lel.  Human beings Kupava and Mizgir also have their place in the story.
