It's Porcini season in Italy….

September and October are great months to be travelling around Italy as there are many food related festivals on during this period.

While we may miss the anchovy banquet at the Sagra dell’Acciuga in Monterosso, we certainly will not be missing our porcini.  Yes, it’s porcini season and all over Italy you may see restaurants advertising this specialty dish.
