Brussels Airport is the gateway to Belgium for travellers arriving by air. The airport is located approximately 13 km (8 miles) northeast of the city center. Brussels’ other airport, the Brussels South Charleroi Airport, caters to charter flights only. South Charleroi Airport is one hour from the city.
Brussels has an efficient transport network making public travel accessible to all. STIB (Société des Transports Intercommunaux de Bruxelles), is the main public transport operator in Brussels. This is not really a comment.
I would like to know the best /lowest cost option to transfer from Brussels International Airport to Brussels South/Charleroi Airport. Is there a direct shuttle or bus service. If not how do I go about it?

To get from Brussels National Airport to Charleroi Airport take train on track 1 in lower level of Brussels National Airport to Brussels Midi every 9 minutes or 35 minutes past every hour and switch to Charleroi Sud train on track 21 or 12 . You have a five minute transfer time…so move swiftly. At Charleroi take Bus Line ( Ligne ) A to airport. Total trip time 1 hour ten minutes. Total cost 15 Euro.
