Your guide to the Cotswold Way
Your guide to the Cotswold Way

We are pleased to have released our Cotswold Way Walks Course for your enjoyment and information.

.
This is probably the quintessentially English walk that most walkers have heard of. So, a little bit about it.
.
First, I tell you about the Cotswold Way walking experience as we travel together through the English countryside from Bath to our destination at Chipping Campden.
.
We’ll visit places ranging from the Devil’s Chimney, symbol of the Cotswolds, to the church where Tyndale, the first translator of the Bible into English, preached, and from Cooper’s Hill, scene of the famous – and risky! – cheese-rolling race to Sudeley Castle, where Katherine Parr, a wife of King Henry VIII, is buried (and incidentally the largest private collection of toys and dolls on view in Europe is displayed).
.
On the way, we’ll talk about staying in Bed & Breakfasts , what it’s really like on the trail, the challenges you’ll have to face and the amazing experiences you can expect.
.
Backing all this up, we’ll have a look at costs and practical necessities, like clothing and equipment, fitness, baggage transport options, booking accommodation, washing clothes and other things that travellers need to know.
.
Lastly, and most importantly, you’ll get personal access to me, Almis, to ask me your own questions about your walking holiday. That’s personal advice from someone who’s been there, done it and got the t-shirt. That’s priceless.
