During London Cocktail Week, the Red Routemaster Buses Will Tour 100 Cocktail Bars:
As the weather gets cooler and the skies turn more grey, what better way to keep cheery than to go on a cocktail tour. London Cocktail Week is an event that is sure to put smiles on faces of those who enjoy their cocktails.
During the week of October 7 – 16, the original red Routemaster double-decker buses will visit over 100 London cocktail bars, each one offering a specially made drink for £4.
During London Cocktail Week, special bus stops will be erected outside participating bars and bartenders will serve mini-cocktails to drinkers wearing a London Cocktail Week wristband while they wait for the bus. This is the only time in the year when you won’t mind if your bus is a bit slow in arriving.
London Cocktail Week will also include masterclasses in cocktail mixing, pop-up events and parties.
Get Your Free Wristbands
To be eligible for discounted cocktails in participating bars and free transport on the dedicated buses, you have to show your wristband. Visitors to London can register for a free wristband until 10 September, after which they will cost £10. Wristbands can be collected from the London Cocktail Week hub on the first floor bar in Selfridges, Oxford Street, which will be themed as a temporary speakeasy-style cocktail bar.
The red Routemaster double-decker buses will run every day from 18:00 to midnight.
