You can shop till you drop in Spain:
Those familiar with Outlet Shopping malls in Rome, Paris and London will be familiar with the Chic Outlet Shopping concept in those cities. Travellers looking to do some outlet shopping on their travel in Spain will be pleased to know that Chic Outlet Shopping is in Spain as well and they have not one but two outlets and Las Rozas Village is one of them.
Apart from the international designers, at Madrid Las Rozas you’ll have the opportunity to shop for the best Spanish labels as well, like Custo – one of my favourites. Las Rozas is a favourite shopping destination of fashion-conscious Madrileños. The village includes more than 100 luxury outlet shops, including Bally, Burberry, Hugo Boss Man and Woman, Loewe, Tommy Hilfiger and Versace. Yes, I’m hooked already.
Spain’s capital and the surrounding areas are rich with culture, art, history, fiestas and events. You could spend a lot of time in the Prado Museum alone or the Reina Sofía National Art Centre, which is dedicated to Spanish contemporary art, with works by Picasso, Joan Miró, Salvador Dalí and Juan Gris among others.
Situated in a chic area of Madrid, Las Rozas is within easy reach of the city centre and there are buses, trains and private shopping tours that will take you there.
From Moncloa bus station (Madrid) service numbers 628, 629 and 625 depart every 20 minutes to arrive at the ramp of Heron City, the leisure centre in front of Las Rozas Village. The trip takes around 40 minutes each way.
