Airport Transfers at Leeds Bradford International Airport – Yorkshire:

Leeds Bradford International Airport

Leeds Bradford Airport

Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBA) is the air transport gateway for the Yorkshire region and services the cities of Leeds and Bradford and the wider Yorkshire region. LBA Airport is the largest of the three Yorkshire airports and the 16th largest in the UK in terms of passenger numbers.

Jet2, EasyJet and Ryanair, three of the largest British low-cost carriers, fly passengers to most of the major resort holiday destinations in Europe.  KLM and BMI flights from Leeds Bradford to Amsterdam and Brussels respectively, provide worldwide connections to travellers from Leeds Bradford Airport.  As an indication of LBA’s importance as an air transport hub, Leeds Bradford Airport is also a base for Ryanair and the head office of Jet2 is located on the ground floor of the Airport.

Airport Transfers

Leeds Bradford Airport is located to the north of Leeds and Bradford and is easily accessible by public transport.  Leeds Bradford Airport has very good ground transportation options for travellers.

By Bus

Flights to Leeds and Bradford land at LBA and buses connect visitors to the two city centres, each about seven miles away.  There are also direct bus services to Harrogate and Otley. These operate daily from early morning to late night, including weekends and bank holidays.
Airport Direct buses 757 travel to Leeds, or 737 and 747 to Bradford. Journeys take at least 40 minutes.  For cost of bus tickets, timetables and service frequency see www.wymetro.com

By Train

Jet2 HolidaysThere is no direct train to LBA Airport however the bus services link passengers from the airport to the major rail hubs of Leeds and Bradford.

By Taxi

Arrow Private Hire is the official airport taxi service.  We use their taxi services  on our travels to and from Leeds Bradford Airport every year and have found them to be very efficient.  Arrow Private Hire taxis are easily available at LBA. The Arrow office is conveniently located outside the main terminal. Taxi bookings can be made on the spot or if you prefer bookings can also be made online at www.arrowprivatehire.co.uk. (00 44 113 258 5888). Fixed fares are £19.30 to either Leeds or Bradford city centre. Allow between 20 and 40 minutes.

By Car

The airport is signposted on all major roads over a wide area, including the M1 and M62 motorways and the Yorkshire section of the A1. The airport’s full postcode for people wishing to use a satellite navigation system is LS19 7TU.

There are plenty of short stay and long stay car parking at Leeds Bradford Airport.  For more about Leeds Bradford Airport parking and fees see HERE. To see if you can find a better car parking deal check with Purple Parking HERE.
