Paris has some of the most beautiful and historical churches and many of these are regular venues for classical music performances.  During the festive season these famous churches traditionally host special Christmas concerts.

If you’re spending Christmas in Paris, you can enjoy Christmas music, classical or religious music at one of the many Christmas concerts in the city.

Famous Paris Churches

Many of these Christmas concerts are held at venues which are themselves famous Paris attractions such as the Sainte Chapelle, which is famous for its stained glass windows, the Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Madeleine.

Most of these Christmas concerts are limited-performance events, so book early if you don’t want to miss out.

Dec.20 – Dec 30Sainte Chapelle: Christmas Concerts
Celebrate the holiday season in Paris with favourite classical music repertoire at the famous Sainte Chapelle.  At the Sainte Chapelle Christmas concerts, you can experience one of the most breathtaking sights in Paris while enjoying a superb performance. These concerts are very popular so book early.

Nov – DecEglise Saint-Ephrem
With its outstanding acoustics, Eglise Saint-Ephrem is a regular venue for classical music concerts. Enjoy music by the great masters in this ancient church in the historical heart of Paris
Dec.22Eglise Saint-Roch – Christmas Concert 
Treat yourself to a Christmas concert in the beautiful Baroque Church of St. Roch. The concert begins with the fascinating and unfamiliar music of the Middle Ages, and ends with traditional Christmas carols, with rousing spirituals and gospel songs in the heart of the program.
Olivier Kontogom conducts the Orchestre Hélios, with several choirs and an ensemble of experienced soloists.
