Paris Christmas Concerts

Paris has some of the most beautiful and historical churches and many of these are regular venues for classical music performances.  During the festive season these famous churches traditionally host special Christmas concerts.

If you’re spending Christmas in Paris, you can enjoy Christmas music, classical or religious music at one of the many Christmas concerts in the city.

Famous Paris Churches

Many of these Christmas concerts are held at venues which are themselves famous Paris attractions such as the Sainte Chapelle, which is famous for its stained glass windows, the Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Madeleine.

Most of these Christmas concerts are limited-performance events, so book early if you don’t want to miss out.

Sainte-Chapelle Sainte Chapelle: Christmas Concerts
Celebrate the holiday season in Paris with favourite classical music repertoire at the famous Sainte Chapelle.  At the Sainte Chapelle Christmas concerts, you can experience one of the most breathtaking sights in Paris while enjoying a superb performance. These concerts are very popular so book early.

Paris Saint-Ephrem church Eglise Saint-Ephrem
With its outstanding acoustics, Eglise Saint-Ephrem is a regular venue for classical music concerts. Enjoy music by the great masters in this ancient church in the historical heart of Paris
Saint-Louis en l'Île Eglise Saint-Louis-en-L’Île
Treat yourself to a concert in the glorious atmosphere of Eglise Saint‐Louis‐en‐L’Île. This Roman Catholic church is particularly rich in art and decoration of the French Baroque period in the 18th century, as well as more modern work from the 19th century.

 

 

Cathédrale Américaine de Paris
The Cathédrale Américaine de Paris (American Cathedral in Paris), formally known as the Cathedral Church of the Holy Trinity, is one of the oldest English-speaking churches in Paris. The Cathedral hosts frequent concerts by the Cathedral choirs and soloists as well as international guest artists and ensembles.
Eglise Saint-Julien- le-Pauvre, Paris Eglise Saint Julien le Pauvre
Immerse yourself in the stunning architecture of Paris’s breathtaking Eglise Saint-Julien-le-Pauvre. Built in Gothic style during the 13th century, it is situated in the 5th arrondissement, on the Left Bank of the Seine River, about 500 meters away from the Musée de Cluny.
St. Germain des Près: Christmas Concerts
Treat yourself to an uplifting classical music experience at one of Paris’s oldest churches. Choose from an impressive range of concerts which include Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, Great Opera Arias,  Mozart’s Requiem, etc. Do not miss the Christmas Concert and New Year’s Concert in this historic Paris church.
Eglise La Madeleine Eglise de la Madeleine
Enjoy an impressive range of concerts at Eglise de la Madeleine. La Madeleine is one of the most famous monuments in Paris. Among the many famous concerts are Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, The Versailles Trumpets, Organs and Timpani, Mozart’s Requiem, etc.
St Eustache Church Paris Eglise Saint-Eustache
Saint-Eustache is one of the most important churches in Paris. Standing near the Louvre and the Royal Palace, St. Eustache was known as the Parochial and Royal Church from the 17th century until the French Revolution. Numerous major events have marked its history. This is a great church from which to usher in the New Year.
SaintSulpiceChurch Eglise Saint-Sulpice 
Enjoy a Christmas concert or Mozart Requiem at the stunning Eglise Saint-Sulpice. This is the second largest church in Paris after the Notre‐Dame. The church has a long‐standing organ tradition. 
Saint-Séverin Church, Paris Eglise Saint‐Séverin
Treat yourself to a Christmas concert or a New Year’s Eve concert in the beautiful St. Séverin Church.
