The Tea House in Covent Garden is One of the Most Original Tea Shops in London:

The Tea House – Covent Garden

If you’re a tea connoisseur on the hunt for tea shops in London, The Tea House in Covent Garden is certainly worth a visit. This Covent Garden tea shop has a large range of quality teas and also has one of the prettiest shop windows in London.  It is not surprising that it is the most photographed shop in Covent Garden.

An Authentic London Tea Shop

Since its establishment in 1982, The Tea House has been and continues to be a success story. Situated at 15a Neal Street, it has a wide range of some 200 different infusions and teas which are roasted and blended to its owner’s original recipes. Whether your favourite brew is Chinese Gunpowder or Jasmine teas, Assam or Darjeeling, Japanese green tea or British favourites such as English breakfast or Earl Grey, you’ll find all the best teas at The Tea House – you won’t find any cheap tea bags here and neither do they sell cups of tea.

Passionate About Tea

Christina Smith, owner of The Tea House is obviously very passionate about tea. Not only are the teas roasted and blended to her own recipes, the Tea House also packs its own tea and depending on the type of tea, a different packaging is used. When you enter The Tea House the beautiful aroma of tea reminds you what fresh tea should smell like.

Apart from tea, the Tea House sells teapots, tea services and everything associated with tea. Unfortunately, Tony did not see her Che Guevara teapot or he certainly would have bought one.  If you love tea and can’t wait for that ‘tea rush’, check out their interesting website theteahouseltd.com where you can buy your favourite tea online. They also take phone orders.
