Edinburgh Airport is Scotland’s main airport and it is home to more than 40 airlines which serve over 100 destinations. With some nine million passengers a year passing through Edinburgh Airport, it is Scotland’s busiest airport.

The airport is about eight miles (12 km) west of the Edinburgh city centre and it takes about 25 minutes to travel from Edinburgh Airport to Edinburgh city centre in light traffic.
