Seville Airport Transfers: Seville Airport

Sevilla Airport

Seville Airport Transfers

Seville Airport or Aeropuerto de Sevilla is located in San Pablo, about ten kilometres (six miles) north-east of the city.  This is the main airport for Seville and with close to 5 million passengers passing through Seville Airport it is also Andalucia’s second largest airport, after Malaga.

Flights to Seville

Seville Airport is mostly serviced by budget airlines and it is a hub for Vueling and Ryanair. EasyJet, Air Berlin, Air Nostrum and Air Europa are some of the budget carriers with flights connecting Seville to destinations in Spain and overseas, although about 80% of the traffic is domestic. The mainstream international carriers include British Airways and Air France.

Seville Airport Transfers

By Car –
Seville Airport is situated on the A4 motorway (known as E05 in the International E-road network) which connects Seville with Madrid. From Seville the surrounding motorways provide relatively easy access to Jerez, Málaga, Cádiz, Huelva and into Portugal.

By Bus –
From the Airport there are half-hourly buses to the centre of Seville.  Journey time is about 25 minutes. Tickets are €2.50 one-way (2012).
The buses run from 06.15 to 23.00 and take the following route:
Airport – Kansas City – Santa Justa Railway Station – Luis de Morales – San Francisco Javier – S.Bernardo- Avda. El Cid (Jardines del Prado).

Shuttle Direct –
You can also pre-book your own door-to-door private transfer with Shuttle Direct.

By Taxi –
There is a taxi stand just outside the terminal. The taxi ride into the city takes about 15 minutes and a fee of €1 per bag is added to the cost of the journey.

Car Rental –
The major car rental companies such as AVIS, Europcar, Hertz, National and Sixt operate at Seville Airport.

Seville Airport Hotels

The nearest hotels to Seville Airport include the Hotel San Pablo, Hotel Sevilla Congresos and Apartamentos Bib Rambla.  They are between 3 – 4 km from the Airport.  For the complete list of Seville hotels, see HERE.

Tip:  If you’re thinking of sleeping at the Airport – Don’t!  The Airport is shut between 1:00 – 4:00 am and you’ll be tossed out at midnight.  The nearest cheap motel is quite a long walk away.
