Paris Bike Ride – Your Chance to Ride a Part of the 2015 Tour de France Paris Course:
For the many cycling enthusiasts heading to France to follow the 2015 Tour de France, here’s an interesting thing to do – a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to ride along a part of the Official 2015 Tour de France route a few hours before the professionals arrive in Paris on Sunday, July 26th – the final day of the race.
2015 Tour de France Route
As all Tour de France followers know, the final stage of the cycling world’s greatest race traditionally ends in Paris with the cyclists doing eight laps around the streets of the capital before a final sprint up the Champs-Élysées. Imagine if you too could ride on this world-famous street when it is free of cars and traffic on July 26th, just a few hours before the real riders come racing into town.
This 2 hour (approx) guided tour starts in central Paris near the Eiffel Tower and you will ride through some of the most popular parts of Paris. But unlike the cracking pace of the Tour de France, your guide will take you on a leisurely ride down the Champs-Élysées, through Place de la Concorde, around Jardin des Tuileries, in front of the Musée du Louvre and towards the Arc de Triomphe. It’s not often that you can boast about beating the professionals to the Champs-Élysées!
