Ground Transportation To/From Nuremberg Airport:
Nürnberg Airport is the second busiest airport in the state of Bavaria and ranks 10th amongst German airports, processing over 4 million passengers p.a. during its peaks. It is also the base for Air Berlin, Germany’s second largest airline.
The airport is located just 5 km north of Nürnberg city centre and the U-Bahn, line U2 takes travellers from the airport to the city centre in just 10 to 15 minutes. It takes about 12 minutes to reach the Hauptbahnhof (Central Railway Station) which is close to the Altstadt (historic old town).
Flights to Nuremberg
The main carriers with flights to Nuremberg are Air Berlin, Air France, KLM, Lufthansa, Swissair and Turkish Airlines. Other budget/seasonal flights to Nuremberg include Air VIA, Bulgarian Air Charter, Condor, Freebird Airlines, Niki, Ostfriesische Lufttransport, Sky Airlines, Sun Express and TUIfly.

There is good ground transportation to/from Nürnberg airport as well as plenty of airport parking spaces.
By Train:
The U2 subway line directly connects Nürnberg Airport with the central train station (Hauptbahnhof ) and the journey time to Nürnberg’s city centre is just 12 minutes! For those wanting to get to the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre, change at the central station for line U1 in the direction of Langwasser. Journey time to the trade fair is about 25 minutes.
By Bus:
The bus stop is located centrally in front of departure Terminal 1 at the departure level.
Car Rental:
Avis, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt all have offices here.
By Car:
Some 2,700 covered parking lots are available in two modern multi-story car parks. The car parks’ electronic guide system guides drivers to a parking lot as soon as they drive into the car parks. There are also about 3,000 more secure outdoor car parks.
