Frühlingsdom 2019 – The Hamburger Dom Spring Festival

Frühlingsdom or Hamburger Dom Spring Festival is the Largest Fair in North Germany:

Hamburg Frühlingsdom, the largest fun fair in the north of Germany, is back on till April 22nd. Hamburger DOM takes place three times a year (spring, summer and winter) and Frühlingsdom is the Spring fair.

Frühlingsdom 2019

Frühlingsdom fair boasts a 55 metre Ferris wheel, thundering roller coasters and all the fun of the Spring fair on a 160,000 m2 site. There are over 260 colourful attractions for visitors to enjoy. As the Spring fair spreads over the Easter season, there will be sweet surprises from the Easter bunny for the little visitors. Further attractions will be clowns, acrobats, jugglers, fire-eaters and lots of entertainment to keep the children wide-eyed and excited.

Hamburger Dom is an experience for all, regardless of  whether you’re a local or a visitor. Apart from all the fun rides and show booths there are all types of delicious foods from the small snack to fine dining menus.

Hamburg Dom runs for a whole month and visitors can also expect a calendar of star-studded entertainment. A highlight event is the fireworks which takes place every Friday evening (except Good Friday) at 10:30 p.m. above the Heiligengeistfeld.

Getting to Frühlingsdom:

The DOM Festival takes place at the Heiligengeistfeld, very conveniently located near Hamburg’s city centre. The easiest way to travel to the Heiligengeistfeld is by underground (stations St. Pauli and Feldstraße).

  • U-Bahn: U3 (the yellow line) St. Pauli
  • S-Bahn: S1 (the green line), S3 (the violet line) Reeperbahn

Various Buses: (bus line 9) Station Feldstraße | (bus line 112, 36 and 37) Station St. Pauli

Opening hours:

Mon – Thu : 3 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Fri – Sat     : 3 p.m. to midnight
Sunday       : 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.
