Intercity Trains to Normandy Leave from Gare Saint-Lazare, the Second Busiest Train Station:

Gare Saint-Lazare

Paris Gare Saint-Lazare

For train travel to Rouen, Le Havre, Dieppe, Caen and Cherbourg, Gare Saint-Lazare is the station for you. Gare Saint-Lazare is the terminus for the long distance intercity trains that travel to and from Normandy. The regional Transilien trains to the west and south-western suburbs of Paris also use this station.

Gare Saint-Lazare

There are six terminus railway stations in Paris and Gare Saint-Lazare is the second busiest station after Gare du Nord.  Each day some 450,000 passengers travel through Gare Saint-Lazare, totalling over 100 million passengers transitting through the station each year.  This makes St-Lazare one of the busiest train stations in Europe.

There are 27 platforms serving west and south-western suburban destinations in Paris and the cities in the Normandy region. It serves the Paris-Le Havre line as well as train routes to Dieppe, Cherbourg, Caen or Rouen.  If you are travelling to Normandy, this is the station you’ll need to get to.
