For train travel to Rouen, Le Havre, Dieppe, Caen and Cherbourg, Gare Saint-Lazare is the station for you. Gare Saint-Lazare is the terminus for the long distance intercity trains that travel to and from Normandy. The regional Transilien trains to the west and south-western suburbs of Paris also use this station.

There are six terminus railway stations in Paris and Gare Saint-Lazare is the second busiest station after Gare du Nord. Each day some 450,000 passengers travel through Gare Saint-Lazare, totalling over 100 million passengers transitting through the station each year. This makes St-Lazare one of the busiest train stations in Europe.
There are 27 platforms serving west and south-western suburban destinations in Paris and the cities in the Normandy region. It serves the Paris-Le Havre line as well as train routes to Dieppe, Cherbourg, Caen or Rouen. If you are travelling to Normandy, this is the station you’ll need to get to.

Gare St-Lazare has its own post office and there is a police station at the station as well. Other facilities at Gare Saint-Lazare include ATM machines, cafes, baggage and lost property service, currency exchange, photo booths, public phones and a WiFi hotspot.
The nearest tourist offices are at Gare du Nord or near Pyramides Metro station (line 14 from Gare Saint-Lazare). The station is about 3 km (over 2 miles ) west from Gare du Nord.

How to Get there:
On Foot – Central Paris is a 20 minute walk south from the station.
By Metro – Gare Saint-Lazare is on Metro lines 3, 12, 13 and 14.
RER line E – To get here from Gare du Nord i.e. if you are connecting from Eurostar or Charles de Gaulle Airport catch the RER Line E.
By Bus – Bus 26 runs between Gare du Nord and Gare St Lazare in around 25 minutes.
