Ground Transportation from/to Rotterdam Airport:

  • Airport Shuttle 50: Wilhelminakade – Station Rotterdam Blaak – Central Station (for Westin Hotel) – Rotterdam Airport
  • RET Bus 41: Schiedam Central Station – Rotterdam Airport – Station Rotterdam Noord

Is there bus service grom AMS to RTM? Clients are in early 80’s and afraid that hauling luggage to the train will be too much for them to handle.

Is there any assistance available at the airport for persons who have difficulty walking and who have limited stamina to board the train. Will seats on the train accommodate luggage?

    Thank you for your response.

We’re not aware of any direct bus service from Schiphol Airport to RTM. Below is the list of airport bus services. At the end of the page there is a phone number to call if more information is required.

Request for assistance with transfers should be pre-arranged with the airline your clients are travelling with. Most airlines have information on their website on the type of assistance they provide for elderly customers or customers who are physically challenged. We suggest you discuss your clients’ needs with the airline. KLM for instance has very good customer care services for physically challenged travellers. See link.
